Floorball Federation Solomon Islands
The Floorball Federation Solomon Islands (FFSI) is the national body of floorball in Solomon Islands.
Floorball has become a popular sport in Solomon Islands with over 100 participants currently competing. Floorball Federation was established in 2022 and it now has 8 clubs in the floorball league, that plays from September to May. The teams are mixed at the moment, next season the goal is to have one women's league and one men's league.
FFSI is a member of the International Floorball Federation (IFF) and Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC), which means we can compete internationally. The next Men's World Championships qualification is in August 2025. This will be our first opportunity to test ourselves on the global stage.
FFSI is also focusing on schools to make a Floorball Cup for schools this year. Another vision is to do a Company Cup for companies to bring more participation for the sport in the country.
