The National Stadium has placed the Solomon Islands in an enviable position of attracting national and international sporting events.

Located only 4 km from Honiara’s international and domestic airports and 7 km from the CBD, the Stadium sits at the heart of the Westend Sports Park Precinct.

The Stadium can seat up to 11,000 spectators. It boasts a premium playing surface suitable for hosting national and international football, rugby and field events and an 8 lane athletics track, which has a Class 1 Athletic Certification from World Athletics.

The Western Stand contains purpose-built event operation rooms, including 4 changerooms and dedicated space for officials and medical personnel.

The Eastern Stand houses administration and office space facilities.
